Linda Nelson Bryan is a textile artist who maintains a studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since receiving her Masters Degree in Textile Design in 1974, from the University of Minnesota, she has established a body of work utilizing various fiber and surface design techniques.
She has exhibited internationally and won numerous awards.
Her teaching career includes 10 years teaching design classes at the University of Minnesota. She also participated in a number of artist residencies, including: Potter’s House in the Mpls Public Schools, more than 20 years of fiber residencies with COMPAS, a summer spent at the Fiberarts Interchange at Banff Centre for the Arts, and most recently, a banner making residency at St Paul Academy and Summit Schools.
